Membership & Plans
What's included with Tool Club membership?
All Tool Club members get access to our full catalog of professional tools, online booking, and reliable delivery and pickup service. We offer different membership tiers to fit how often you rent—from occasional DIYers to weekly project warriors.
What are the different membership options?
Tool Club offers a Basic plan (free) and Premium plans (monthly or annual). Basic members get full catalog access and pay standard rental rates. Premium members get discounted rental rates and exclusive Tool Club perks. Choose the plan that matches your project frequency.
How much does membership cost?
Our Basic plan is free—no monthly fee, ever. Premium membership starts at $15.99/month (or $159.99/year for annual savings). Premium members typically save $20-50 per rental through discounted rates.
Can I switch between membership plans?
Absolutely. Upgrade to Premium anytime in your account dashboard to start saving immediately. You can also downgrade or cancel Premium—you'll keep your Tool Club account and can continue renting at Basic rates.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
Nope! You can create your Tool Club account and browse our full catalog without a credit card. We only collect payment information when you're ready to place your first rental order.
Rentals & Pricing
How is rental pricing determined?
Tool Club bases pricing off "the big guys". We regularly monitor big box rental pricing and update our catalog accordingly. Our goal is affordability so you will never pay more than going to the other guys.
How long can I rent a tool?
All Tool Club Rentals are 24 hour periods, providing maximum flexibility. Need a tool for longer? No problem, just select how many days you need and you're all set!
What are the delivery fees?
As a subscribed Tool Club Member, all delivery & pickup fees are FREE! Just check to see if you are in our service area before signing up.
What if I need a tool longer than expected?
No problem! Contact us before your rental period ends and we'll extend it for additional days at the daily rate. If you're a Premium member, your discounted rate applies to the extension too.
Delivery & Service
What's your delivery area?
We are currently serving the east side of Cincinnati. Enter your zip code or check out our map on the membership page to see if we are in your area! We hope to expand to all neighborhoods as soon as possible!
When will my order arrive?
Deliveries are between 8am-12pm each day. Using our software, customers will receive an alert when their order is next and be able to track the driver in real time. Just like when you order a burrito!!
Do you deliver on weekends?
Yes! We offer delivery windows throughout the week, including weekends. Select your preferred 2-hour delivery window when you book your rental. Tool Club is closed on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.Â
What if a tool doesn't work?
We do our best to test all tools before delivering to a customer. However, sometimes a tool can malfunction unexpectedly. Not to worry!!! Let us know and we will get a new tool out to you right away.
What condition should I return tools in?
We ask that you return tools clean and in the same condition you received them. Normal wear and tear from proper use is expected and covered. If there's damage beyond normal wear, we'll discuss it during pickup and work out a fair resolution.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens! You can cancel or reschedule your rental up to 24 hours before your scheduled delivery time for a full refund. Contact us if you need help with changes to your order.

Billing & Pricing
Shopify Payments (ShopPay)
Tool Club uses Shopify Payments, including ShopPay, for secure and seamless payment processing. Shopify's industry-leading encryption and fraud-prevention technology ensure every transaction is safe and reliable.
Payments Accepted
We accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through Shopify Payments. To help protect against fraudulent activity, prepaid gift cards are not accepted.

Cancellation Policy
Membership Cancellation
You may cancel your Tool Club membership at any time through your account settings. No refunds will be issued for unused membership periods.
Reservations & Orders
Cancellations of reservations or orders must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery time. No refunds or modifications are permitted within 24 hours of delivery to ensure efficient scheduling.
